About Us
My name is Vicky Barouni. My passion is the decoration of interior and exterior spaces and for quite some time it was my main occupation. Lately, however, I have realized that what expresses me completely are my creations, my own inspirations.
I could not imagine myself doing anything else since it is my need to express myself through design and to give form to something formless. What fills me is seeing my creations "come alive" and illuminate a space. The magic of course is that all the lighting fixtures are handmade and each piece is unique. None is ever exactly the same and this is certainly a priceless value.
Worked exclusively by hand, without the use of molds, they have the "perfect-imperfect" appearance of a truly handmade creation. The uniqueness of their construction makes them stand out whether they are on or off. Lighting becomes a starting point in the decoration of the space, instead of being another decorative element. Because light means more than a lamp. It means decoration, atmosphere, aesthetics and art.
My designs are based on ancient Greek mythology and architecture which is an inexhaustible source of inspiration. When designing, I combine the ancient with modern art to produce a unique creation that suits every space.
